Vegan Parmesan Courgette / Zucchini chips

These Courgette chips are a great alternative to regular chips and ever since I started making these I cant stop because they are absolutely delicious.

Ingredients
1 small courgette per person
half a cup of breadcrumbs
quarter of a cup of nutritional yeast
Olive oil
spices- garlic salt, paprika, crushed chillies, salt, pepper, garlic puree, thyme, basil

*with the spices I mix and match depending on what I feel like sometimes I will just have it with salt pepper and herbs if I want more of a fresh taste and add a piri piri rub if I want them to have more of a kick to them.

Directions
1. cut your courgettes in thin sticks or rounds
2. coat the courgette with olive oil
3. In a bowl (preferably one with a flat bottom)mix together the breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, and your spices
4. press the courgette into the breadcrumb mixture coating it as best you can
5. Place the breaded courgette on a sheet with some non stick cooking spray or oil
6.place in the over at 350.F/180.C for 20 minutes or until golden brown

You can try this recipe with breadcrumbs more nutritional yeast it just depends on what you like,         make the recipe your own and try it for yourself.

November favourites

Both the scarf and the cookbook I bought using an Asos birthday gift card, my birthday was in July but i'm adding it in my November favourites because I really got to use and appreciate them last month. As I'm writing this post I can hear the wind blowing outside and the few things that are helping stay warm is my whistles scarf and coconut curry from the Deliciously Ella cookbook or snacking on banana chips While watching T.V (who else has been loving Jane the virgin). Ever since I watched Cowspiracy (which another favourite and defiantly encourage everyone to watch it) I've been trying to add more vegan meals and snacks into my diet and through that found more nutritious options like the smoothie, cookbook and banana chip. Now for the Daniel Wellington watch, I've been eyeing this watch forever now and since I'm going back home for the holidays and starting an internship (wish me luck) I thought I'd be spending less money and so can afford to go buy something nice for myself. The watch is a classic design and has me head over heels, I also find myself looking more put together and on time.

all items have a link to where you can find them :)

Hope everyone is having a good day/night and thank you

Tips on moving out (UNIVERISTY)

Now in my second year living in London theirs definitely a few things i've done that were huge mistakes and I know so many people are moving away from home and living in tiny student accommodation. As someone who never lived in student accommodation their were a few things I missed on like how much easier it is to make friends but also the annoying fights between flatmates over who didn't do the dishes; do your dishes people! Nevertheless their are a few student struggles I still had to go through maybe a few more than those that don't live in London. London is great, the transportation system is fabulous, the shopping unbelievable, gigs and concerts going on 24/7 but boy is everything Expensive! so here's a few tricks and tips that I wish I knew going into uni;

1. Always ask for student discount, its not embarrassing its efficient and you'd be surprised how many shops do student discount.

2. Take the bus and walk whenever possible, this is more for London but you save so much. Also if you live in London citymapper (the app) is a lifesaver it shows you different routes, times and also how much its going to cost.

3. Learn to cook! eating take out pizza's, indian, Chinese etc sounds good and taste good but will not make you feel good afterwards, also you may think that deal on dominos is saving you money but buying and cooking your own food is a lot less expensive, turn your dinner outs into dinner in's its a great way to round up the flatmates and spend some quality time together while saving money :) (If you want me to post some of my favourite easy recipes, comment down below x)

4. Learn to do laundry. I thought I knew how to do laundry but when your stuck doing all your clothes at once, you realise how little you actually know (or at least I did).

5. Be organised. folders are lifesavers. Uni is much tougher than school, the deadlines and word counts are brutal but being organised defiantly helped me get through the year much smoothly. (if you want to see a whole post on how I stay organised comment down below x).

6. Put yourself out there! every freshman is feeling the same nerves your feeling, we're all nervous and terrified. Starting a conversation is something I am terrible at but I broke through that invisible glass wall and started talking to people, try to be friendly and social with as many people as possible and sooner or later you'll find the people you feel comfortable with. Talk to the person next to you in a lecture ask them if they wanna grab lunch after class, knock on your flatmate door and ask if they want a cup of tea. food is an amazing social tool. If you find out someone likes the same show as you, offer to watch the next episode together. Just put yourself out there. I used to be the person who would just tag along to what my best friend was doing and never really made plans for myself but I had to get over my fear of rejection and start talking. you might get rejected but you'll be surprised by how many people will say yes.

7. Join clubs. University is stressful but having a place to go to is an amazing way to de-stress, meet people and learn a new skill.

September wish list

September... the new school year will begin and what better way to start than with new clothes :) After a year of living in London my room is finally coming together but now whats left are the walls... I think of my walls as a blank canvas and want to turn it into a piece of art, use it to express myself put what I love on display pictures, books, movies and music. You can learn a lot about a person just from what type of books they read. I've got a map, a caricature drawing of me and my friend, post cards, chalk wall, vinyls, cd's and books all up on my wall and I love it but I need more shelves (comment down below if you want to see how my wall will turn out) so number 1 on my list are floating shelves..

Haul *Febuary*

So i'm home with alone with my brothers. My dad has to go to Dubai for a couple of days for work and my sisters and mum are spending their spring break vacation in L.A and N.Y.C while I'm at home writing essays :) but since I just got some money I went shopping! This is everything I bought in the month of February. And there's a little surprise gift from my dad <3
'Jade is the new black' is a  a pretty emerald green colour that looks great with all skin tones, i'm wearing it right not and absolutely love it. The Revlon colour stay eyeliner has a nice felt tip, if you find liquid liner hard to apply the felt tip makes it easier. The only thing I can say about the Tom Ford lipstick is that its the perfect pink nude colour, I definitely think its an amazing lipstick. The colour, packaging and formula are all absolutely gorgeous! If you know me then you know i'm a jumper and leggings person. I just think its simple and comfy, so when I so this one from H&M with an open back and sheer blouse inside I fell in love! It's much more stylish than a regular jumper but with the same comfort.

Obsession is an understatement.

If you saw my February wishlist then you'd know I've been loving the Gucci bamboo shopper bag but after seeing this beauty I've changed my mind. This bag is in such a classic colour and the removable clutch makes it even more worth it. Its like a better version of the Prada tote and its the Mulberry Willow tote £1754. I love how spacious it is, the only disappointing this that it doesn't have a long strap, but I can get over that :)

Easy Oreo brownie recipe

After seeing this post I was inspired to make my very own Oreo brownie. There's a cafe where I live which do something very similar but I didn't want to have a layer of Oreo's, I wanted the Oreos to be more incorporated so I made my own recipe.

Bronzer, I have a chubby face so I love to contour.

2. lipstick or lip gloss?
Lipstick! I have long hair and whenever I have lip gloss on my hair sticks to my lips.

foundation, my main problem is having un-even skin.

5.neutral or colour eye shadow?
I hardly wear eye shadow so if I do it would be neutral, I don't even own any coloured eye shadows.

7.brushes or sponges?
I love my beauty blender to apply liquid foundation but for anything else brushes.

Outfit of the day

This weekend I went out for lunch and some shopping with a couple of friends. Whenever I go shopping I make sure to wear something comfortable. My top is from H&M its a black peplum top with leather sleeves, I absolutely love it because its a bit edgier than your usual peplum top, also I can dress it down or up. For pants to contrast the black I wore a pair of dusty pink high waist pants from Garage and for shoes I went for my black Tory Burch sandals because they are comfortable and easy to walk in.

Secret Santa gift

I don't celebrate Christmas but me and my friends did do secret Santa. I still don't know who my secret Santa is but my amazing friend got me a couple of gifts after finding out I was hers.

I can't thank her enough because she got me some of the best gifts ever (I'm actually going to send her a couple of things because she really didn't have to do this)

casual/simple outift & face of the day

Today i'm just spending the day with my cousin and the rest of her family. Which is why I went for minimal make-up and a simple comfortable outfit. The Zara leggings are absolutely amazing, they are high waisted so it tucks in any problem areas (yes i'm talking love handles and stomach) also they are so thick that they can be worn as pants. Makeup was simple just foundation, mascara and a Ysl rouge volupte sheer which is like wearing a tinted lip balm

My outfit
Jumper: Primark
leggings: Zara

For makeup:
benefit porefessional
Bare minerals foundation powder- matte
Korres lip butter- wild rose
YSL rouge volupte sheer in 005 'mouthwatering berry'
Maybeline falsies mascara
Blink eyebrow gel

The lazy/busy girls guide to dressing up + DIY dry shampoo

Unless i'm in the mood to dress-up I never really put the effort of going to the salon, doing my hair, makeup, waxing etc. It's a weekday, I have 2 essays to do and a very formal dinner tonight. So to get my work done I didn't spend much time getting ready. The first thing that cut my time is that I showered the night before and braided my hair before going to bed and then let out the braids half an hour before I had to leave ( the more braids the smaller the sections = the tighter the curls), sprayed some hairspray and that was my hair done. For make-up I just did my everyday face make-up, added a bold lip colour and lined my eyes. I left time to go to the salon but I took longer than I expected so instead of wearing a dress I wore a jumper tucked into a skirt and tights. That way I had no reason to get a wax  (you could also wear a dress just add tights and a jacket). Also adding heels and jewelry will instantly make an outfit look more put together and formal.
My outfit:
skirt: Garage
Jumper: Topshop
Nude heels: Kurt Geiger
Korres lip butter - wild rose
YSL liquid eyeliner
Tom Ford lipstick - Violet fatale
perfume: escentric molecules 01

DIY dry shampoo

If you didn't take a shower and don't know what to do here's a recipe for dry shampoo and you'll find most of these things in your home.

 you'll need:
1tsp baking/bicarbonite soda
1tsp corn starch/flour
1tsp rubbing alcohol
1fl oz/ 29.5ml warm water

combine all the ingredients then add the mixture to a spray bottle. spray and massage into your hair. Brush out your hair and leave it natural or you can simply braid/twirl 2 small sections from the top of your head and secure it onto the back of your head with either a clip/bow/bobby pins.

Book haul!

I got gifted a £10 Waterstones gift card, and bought myself a couple of books. I have always
been a fan of Laduree's desserts so being able to have their recipes is great (especially their macaroon and french toast recipe). I also got Lisa Faulkner's recipe book 'recipes from mother to daughter', 'street fashion photography' which is a  collection of all things street style and 'The Girl' a memoir about the Roman Polanski rape case.

I will probably review these books in the future but if there's a certain one you would like a review of, please comment down below.

My skincare routine

I have normal to oily skin and have still not gone through the huge breakout that many teenagers have to endure, my skin does have its problems. Since my skin is at a sensitive stage i'm using very gentle products that will help keep my skin as balanced as possible, rather than using harsh face washes that will end up drying my skin or even worse cause breakouts. If like me your skin is not at a certain extreme stage and you want to keep that way then I would definitely recommend these products.
