My skincare routine

I have normal to oily skin and have still not gone through the huge breakout that many teenagers have to endure, my skin does have its problems. Since my skin is at a sensitive stage i'm using very gentle products that will help keep my skin as balanced as possible, rather than using harsh face washes that will end up drying my skin or even worse cause breakouts. If like me your skin is not at a certain extreme stage and you want to keep that way then I would definitely recommend these products.

This is my regular day and night time routine

Step 1: I wash my face with the Origins cheeks and balances frothy face wash. I find it isn't harsh yet cleans my face enough for it to feel clean and refreshed (your skin shouldn't feel tight after washing your face).

Step 2: I use the Bliss daily detoxifying facial toner. I love this product because It has no alcohol and is gentle on the skin, unlike many other toners which leave my face with a burning/stinging sensation.

Step 3: Origins Balanced lightweight moisture lotion. Even if you have oily skin you still need to use moisturise. The best thing about this moisturizer is that it's lightweight so it doesn't feel thick and heavy but instead my skin is actually able to soak in the moisture. For days where I feel like my skin needs a  good deep wash, I use my Clarisonic mia. The good thing about this moisturizer is that it foams nicely and even when used with the Clarisonic doesn't leave your skin dry.

Once a week I will apply a face mask and I love the Origins clear improvements charcoal mask. It makes My skin feel so clean and look so clear without being harsh.

For any blemishes that just wont seem to leave the Origins spot remover is excellent it dries out the spot nearly instantly. By using a spot remover I can target the blemishes rather than drying out my whole face with a harsh face wash.

Skin care tips:

1.Bio oil is a great face/skin care item.  if you want to check out why bio oil is such a great skin care product I've recently reviewed it on this blog. link for the post: lilacandlove.blogspot.com/2014/01/product-of-month-december.html
2. Drink plenty of WATER. Water will help clear out your pores and leave your skin feeling nice and soft.
3.Stick to one routine. Your skin has to get used to the products your using on your face and it will take time before you see any changes. Constantly changing your routine is not going to help, even if you see a difference its going to be a quick change and the problem is going to come back as fast as it left. This is why I love using gentle products that will help my skin in the long run.
4. SUNSCREEN!!! Not only can it help prevent skin cancer but it also helps with reducing the appearance of red veins, blotchiness, brown spots, discolouration and slows down the development of wrinkled, premature ageing skin.

I only recently started blogging so it really means a lot to me, and thanks for being my first comment :* <3 yes origins is amazing, its a bit pricey and I made sure to buy refills on boxing day but they last a while and the face is really sensitive so I don't mind spending money on it
